Different amine derivatives of 4-Phenyl-3,4,5,6,7,8 hexahydro quinazolines are synthesised and their anitmicrobial activity was screened. 2. Bioinformatics project “Pattern & Anomalies in Non-Coding Regions of Human Chromosomes – An in silico Analysis ” under the guidance of Dr.Chitra Dutta, Senior Scientist, Human Genetics & Genomics Group, Indian Institute of Chemical Biology ( A UNIT OF CSIR ) Kolkata, India. This project is carried out for the partial fulfillment for the award of the degree Master of Biomedical Engineering at Jadavpur University, Kolkata-32, with the help of a Bioinformatics tool called EMBOSS (in LINUX EVIRONMENT) and PERL language. WORK EXPERIENCES: 1. From May 1999 to December 1999 worked as Clinical Business Associate at Pollachi, for Unisearch a division Unichem Laboratories Litimed, Mumabai , India. 2. From January 2000 to March 2000 worked as Area Business Executive at Trichy for Dai-Ichi Laboratories, Hydrabad, India. RESPOSIBILITIES: Desing and execution of new marketing statergy inorder to increase the company’s priscriber and prescribtion base. Meeting atleast 12 doctors and 7 chemist per day for the promotion of new molecules and ensuring the continuous support for the current molecules. Working as a team to achive the company’s vision 3. Review article entitled “Bioinformatics an overview” has been presented for National Conference on Biomaterials and Artificial Organs, Jadavpur University-Calcutta. “Are the human immuogenes are almost free from innate epigenetic regulations?” has been presented in Biohorizon-2003, A national level symposium on Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology organized by Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT-D).
